Child Care Front Desk Clerk- For the 2023-2024 School Year

LOCATIONS / POSITIONS OPEN (MUST BE BILINGUAL)

Colbert ElementaryAfter SchoolFront Desk Clerk – 1:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. / Monday – Friday / $16.00 an hour (must have experience)

*You must also be available on Broward County Early Release Days from 11:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Sunshine Child Programs is looking for leaders that can motivate staff to perform above expectations.

Sunshine's Front Desk position is a part time supervisory position that entails individuals to meet the needs of Sunshine's customers while following the guidelines set forth by Child Care Licensing and the School Board of Broward County. Strong communication and organizational skills, professional appearance and the ability to plan activities for school age children are a necessity.

Staff must also be able to meet the following local and state government requirements

*Must be 21 years of age or older
*2 years experience working hands on with school age children
*Must have a High School Diploma or GED
*Must clear a federal and local background check (School Board Fingerprinting)
*Must complete a standard physical within 48 hours of hire.
(Sunshine will pay for)
*Completion of Part 1 Child Care Facility 30 Hour Training Requirement
Completion of Part 2 Child Care Facility 15 Hour Training Requirement
*Must complete CPR / First Aid Training within 30 days
(Sunshine will schedule / pay for)
*Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English Language. Bilingual is a PLUS!!
*Must have reliable transportation
*Must be a TEAM player and enjoy working with children

Job Type: Part-time - 1:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., MONDAY - FRIDAY
