Job Description Reception RIU Hotels
- Assure to be up dated of the internal procedures and norms of the Front Desk Department.
- Be aware of all services provided by the hotel.
- Be aware of RIU products in general
- Have complete knowledge of the different software provided by the company
Job Duties:
1. Guest Service Service & Follow Up
· Assure small details as smile, friendliness, helpfulness
· Guarantee the follow up on guest incidences, room breakage and complaints with the guest and the corresponding department
· Guest in house call, call after arrival, wake up calls
· Guest contact
· Control of guest messages, telephone calls, fax, etc.
· Correct registration of repeating clients (RC memberships, VIPs’, etc.)
· Assure Guest Correspondence up to date on a day to day basis including update in PMS.
· Handling of restaurant reservations
· Whenever required to be the first in attending any services
· Follow up on guest Birthdays, Anniversaries, Honeymooners etc.
2. Check in / out
· Control and up date departure and arrival time of guests
· Coordination with housekeeping
· Correct registration of all guest according their status
· Assignment of room distribution
· Assure guest attentions are delivered, RPC gifts, VIPs, etc.
· check in / out
· Assure welcome cocktail
· Voucher control and scanning
3. Supervision
· Correct input of charges, credits, etc.
· Key control
· Assure clean lobby, ashtrays, entrance, etc.
4. Internal Administration
· Perfect knowledge and fulfilment of Administrative norms (see portal of RUMBO)
· To be aware of any modification of administrative norms (see portal of RUMBO)
· Correct input of any extras on invoices and payment
· Control of cash payments and pay outs
· Correct filing according administrative norms
5. RPC and RIU CLASS:
· Perfect knowledge of membership programs
· Assure that any membership is registered upon arrival on the foreseen module
GENERAL INFORMATION
· Comply with all RIU Hotels company policies
· Comply with all procedures as required by norms/manual

Any other duty related to the operation of the Department and the satisfaction of the guest in house.
