Responsibilities:
Greet patients, staff and visitors as they arrive at the desk
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of both the Practice Management, EMR systems and PX Connect
Check-in/Registration processes
Updating of patient demographics/ data entry
Scheduling of appointments/ accessing provider schedules
Screen/ process walk-in patients
Review of insurance eligibility prior to visit / prior authorizations
Collect payments, outstanding balances.
Reconcile monies collected at the end of the day for submission to the accounting department
Manage efficient clinic flow by processing arrivals in a timely fashion
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
3+ years experience working the front desk of a medical office
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills in-person and on the phone
Experience with medical scheduling
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Time management and organization
Team player
High School Diploma or equivalent
