Overview:
- High school diploma or GED; valid Florida Aesthetician License is required;
- A thorough understanding of spa treatments and the spa environment.
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more and walk/stand for long periods of time.
General Requirements
This position does require an applicant with a flexible schedule that is able to work day, afternoon and/or evening shifts, weekends, and holidays when needed. A valid Florida Aesthetician License is required.
Compensation
Hourly, Commission and Service Charge + Retail Commissions.
Qualifications:- Performs facials, hand treatments, facial waxing, body scrub, and skincare regimens.
- Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications before beginning service.
- Keep up to date with current techniques and modalities.
- Escort guests to and from treatment rooms.
- Arrange workstations, treatment room and/or drapes for each guest/facility tour.
- Frequently check with guest to promote comfort, safety, and security throughout service.
- Promote and sell spa/wellness/salon services including retail offerings.
- Clean, maintain and sterilize tools and treatment rooms before/after each service.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation and/or treatment room throughout shift, dispose of trash and dirty linens, and equipment at the end of each shift.
- Monitor and stick to time schedule throughout the day.
- Utilize, maintain, and conduct inventory of supplies, products, and linen.
- Maintain cleanliness of work and public areas
- Maintain records as required by federal, state, local and company regulations.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest service issues in a timely friendly and efficient manner.
- Perform services within 50-, 80- and 110-minute time frames.
- Being able to perform a variety of modalities such as: Classic European Facial, Customized Facial, Microcurrent, Oxygen Infusion, Cold Handpieces, Ultrasound, Radio Frequency, Hydra-dermabrasion, CO2 Buffing, Hot Handpieces, LED Light Therapy, Body Scrub,
- Perform general spa duties, as needed.
- Maintain current skills licensures in service area as per regional requirements.
