The Health, Safety, Environmental & Facilities(HSE&F) department is looking for an HSE or facilities management intern tosupport its programs in the Phoenix, Az facilities and operations. TheHSE&F intern will assist the team in continuously improving facilitiesmaintenance, safety culture, and meeting/exceeding regulatory plus companypolicy requirements.
The Honeywell Aerospace Development Program offers a summerinternship program for candidates in Health, Safety and Environmental andFacilities (HSE&F) career paths. The summer intern program is designed toprovide the candidate with a three-month project assignment that is related totheir major. In this position you will gain real-world hands-on technicalexperience in Health, Safety Environmental or Facilities Management with aleading Aerospace company.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Supports day-to-day operations of the health, safety, environmental and facilities (HSEF) function developing experience and understanding of HSEF management systems, policies, procedures, and processes.
- Focus on a special HSEF project to be determined based on the intern's interests and experience to implement improvements and to build communication and networking skills with other functional and business areas.
- Assist with developing and implementation of HSE&F programs, policies, and procedures to continually improve processes.
- Assist with developing and/or reviewing safety training content and experience facilitating and hosting training sessions.
- Participate in HSE&F inspections, own corrective actions, and track items to closure.
- Participate in investigating safety incidents and concerns and identifying and owning corrective actions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in one of the following:
Civil Engineering / Architecture
Environmental Engineering
Industrial Hygiene / Occupational Safety
Chemical Engineering
Maintenance Engineering or other Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) disciplines

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and MS Excel with ability to understand Excel worksheets
- Must have a graduation date no later than 2026
