Title: Nurse Practitioner

Job reports to: Manager, Urgent Care Occupational Health
Position Summary
Our Nurse Practitioners are responsible for exemplary patient primary health care and continuity of medical services under the direction of the supervising physician/s. Responsibilities will vary with each position, and also according to specialty; must be accessible to their physicians, staff and supervisors.

Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Master's degree

Type of degree: Master's from accredited NP program
Area of study or major: Nursing
Preferred educational qualification: N/A
Position specific testing requirement: NA
Licensure/Certification/ Registration:
Current Ohio NP Licensure in good standing.
CPR Certification
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job related experience
Prior job title or occupational experience: 1 year experience as NP
Prior specific functional responsibilities: N/A
Preferred experience: Computer literacy is required and must include Excel, Word and Outlook, and Electronic Medical Records experience is an advantage, preferably EPIC
Other experience requirements: Applicant must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent communication skills with both patients and colleagues are essential.
