Responsibilities:

-Check-in newly arrived vehicles, including vacuuming/washing and using a tablet to scan the vehicle computer for codes. Research codes using the internet or AllData to determine if related to the collision.

- Detail completed vehicles for delivery to customer. Scan vehicle computer to ensure no outstanding diagnostic codes remain after the repair is completed.

- Prepare vehicles for the painting process by performing tasks such as sanding, masking, and priming

- Ensure that all surfaces are properly cleaned and prepped for paint application

- Assist with the mixing and matching of paint colors to ensure accurate color matching

- Perform quality checks to ensure that the paint job meets the required standards

- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools

- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the paint shop

Requirements:

- Previous experience in automotive painting or a related field is preferred

- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Skills:

- Window tinting: Knowledge of window tinting techniques and ability to apply window tint films accurately is a plus

- Drive: Ability to operate vehicles safely within the shop premises

- Buffing: Skill in using buffing tools and compounds to restore the shine of painted surfaces is a plus

- Car wash: Knowledge of proper car washing techniques to prepare vehicles for painting

- Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail when performing painting tasks

- Custodial: Basic custodial skills for maintaining cleanliness in the paint shop area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.13 - $20.11 per hour
