Form of workExcellent opportunity to join a team-oriented group of APPs and Neurologists caring for General Neurology patients (dementia, neuropathy, headache, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and other neurological diagnoses). Our neurology program is committed to educating, training, and mentoring APPs!
Position Details:
- Monday through Friday 0800-1630. No weekends.
- The APP (Advanced Practice Provider) performs the following tasks:
- Obtain a patient history
- Perform a physical examination
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment
- Order, conduct and interpret diagnostic tests
- Formulate a diagnostic impression
- Develop and implement a treatment plan
- Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions
- Prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments
- Facilitate appropriate consultations and referrals
- Provide counseling and education to meet patient needs
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
