What you do:
Expert Consultation: Offers expert consultation to our sales force, financial services professionals and our operations area regarding complex Advanced Markets topics, including but not limited to annuity and life insurance taxation, contract structures, retirement plans, estate and gift taxation.
Creation and Updating of Advanced Markets Materials: Acts as a subject matter expert and assists in the creation and delivery of compliant sales collateral for clients and financial services professionals including brochures and presentations, supporting Advanced Markets topics such as IRA's, qualified plans, trust strategies, and others accepted by the company. Strives to identify new sales strategies that will enhance use of our products. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Creation and Delivery of Training: Responsible for creation and delivery of training and education around complex Advanced Markets topics. Must work closely with our sales and operations training departments to schedule appropriate times to fit into training calendars.
Support for Product Development and Operations: Contributes to product development process by identifying opportunities outside our current offerings. Assists corporate legal and compliance as a subject matter expert when necessary. Analyzes processes to identify inconsistencies, errors and omissions in information disseminated throughout the enterprise including Operations on Advanced Markets tax and other topics. Works with department heads to correct information and rewrite business rules as needed.
What you bring:
Minimum experience:
- 6-7 years of experience required in Advanced Sales case consultation role or related area.
- Four-year degree required.
- Series 6 or 7 FINRA securities license required.
Preferred experience:
- 8-10 years of experience preferred in financial services industry in Advanced Sales case consultation role with point-of-sale experience.
- Advanced degree preferred; JD, CPA, MBA, CFP, ChFC or industry designation.
Job may require periods of stooping, bending, sitting or standing. Job may require attendance at evening or weekend business events and some travel.
