Senior IT Program Manager/Analyst
Prior Lake, MN, US - This is a hybrid role and would include around 15% travel.
Salary Range:$130,000.00 To 150,000.00 Annually
POSITION PURPOSE
The Senior IT Program Manager/Analyst will be responsible and accountable for overseeing our information technology environment. This includes the management and evaluation of third-party vendors as well as project management in order to optimize the outcomes for all IT related systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
- Oversees the overall security and integrity of the organization’s data and information systems to ensure the protection of the company assets.
- Develop and execute the IT roadmap supporting business growth and scalability, in alignment with corporate strategy.
- Liaison between IT and business functions to drive optimization of outsourced engagements by identifying solution and process improvement opportunities and drive them to delivery. Direct and manage capital projects to ensure target dates, milestones, and budget expectations are met.
- Responsibility includes management and evaluation of hardware and software systems, network infrastructure, communications, and all IT vendor relationships.
- Supervise, lead, and coordinate the daily activities of the IT Team (one internal IT Analyst plus outsourced managed IT partner), including work direction, performance management, coaching, and development to maximize team and individual performance.
- Responsible for ensuring data redundancy, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity procedures are aligned with organizational objectives and scalable for Guardian’s projected growth.
- Strong skills required around collaboration, project management, and consensus.
- Implement and train employees on IT policies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and benchmarking best practices.
Education/Certification:
- BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Proven track record in developing and deploying IT strategic plans, as well as tactical execution of IT programs
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, hardware and software systems
- Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network implementation
- Experience in project and portfolio management
- Experience in identifying, managing, and evaluating third party vendors as a part of an IT staffing plan
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred
- Prior management experience required
- Valid Driver’s License required
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to develop staffing plans and manage internal personnel as well as third party performance management
- Conflict management, negotiation skills for problem solving and decision making.
