As an Advanced Data Scientist and researcher on our Chief Technology Office team, you'll introduce innovative AI methodologies to make a real-world impact on making time-sensitive decisions, protect national security, and increase warfighter readiness. You'll share your skills in AI and modeling and shape the future of analytics through a variety of means.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with developing scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats
• 5+ years of experience with creating code for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data
• 3+ years of experience with leading projects and analyzing ethical risks
• 3+ years of experience with Python, Pyspark, Scala, or Java
• 3+ years of experience with designing cloud and local architecture for AI applications
• 3+ years of experience with cloud engineering, including security, on Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
• Experience with developing models for Computer Vision or Natural Language Processing
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science

Nice If You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex data pipelines in a cloud environment, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with distributed data and computing tools, including Spark, Databricks, Hive, AWS EMR, or Kafka
• Experience working on real-time data and streaming applications
• Experience with NoSQL implementation, including MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or Cassandra
• Experience with Agile engineering practices
• Experience with UNIX/Linux, including basic commands and Shell scripting
• Doctorate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
