Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (BSA) - Healthcare Insurance
Location: Newark, NJ – Hybrid 2 days per week in the office.
Position Type: Contract to hire

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a talented Business Systems Analyst with expertise in healthcare and a passion for improving user experience. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, and business stakeholders to enhance existing functionality and develop user stories tailored to website specifications and requirements.
 
Responsibilities:

• Understand user needs and translate them into clear and concise user stories.
• Proficient in utilizing Jira/Confluence for project management and collaboration.
• Work in an Agile environment, following Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Utilize knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations to inform system enhancements.
• Collaborate with product managers to review existing functionality and identify areas for improvement.
• Estimate project timelines and determine the required work effort for successful implementation.
• Conduct user acceptance testing by reviewing and analyzing old user stories.
• Foster effective communication among team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.

 
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience working in a healthcare environment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with portal development is a plus.
• Strong understanding of user experience principles and website design.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira/Confluence.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate collaboration and convey complex ideas effectively.
