Department Information
The California Department of Social Services' (CDSS) Adoption Services Branch (ASB) facilitates adoption of children who need permanent homes by providing direct Agency and Independent adoption and Resource Family Approval services through six regional offices located throughout California. Collectively, the six regional offices operate the third largest adoption agency in California.

Special Requirements
This position is subject to fingerprinting clearance by the Department of Justice.

Highly motivated and independently driven candidates with the ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks to ensure continuity of services and meet statutorily required provision of services are encouraged to apply. This is a professional position which requires interaction with county court personnel, legal professionals, internal and external stakeholders, and public agency collaboration.
