Salary Range:$37,856.00-45,000.00

Who Our Admissions Specialist Is:

  • You are looking for a team-based professional atmosphere and are looking to work for an organization that works directly with vulnerable populations that assures intake, assessment and referral processes operate smoothly, with the client in mind.
  • You are a busy-body, who likes to keep their hands busy by providing clerical assistance.
  • You have worked within a healthcare-based nonprofit before or are versed in referent stakeholders relevant to agencies within substance use/mental health rehabilitation.
  • You are the type of person that has excellent time management and organization skills, which allows you to effectively process inductions for the continuum of care within an agency.
  • You have experience servicing advocacy efforts, program interviews, ascertaining information, and orientating prospective residents within a human services agency.
  • You have OASAS regulatory compliance experience, which includes SAMHSA and other funder’s requirements.
  • Working a flexible schedule within an in-office environment, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays doesn’t bother you.

What Our Admissions Specialist Needs:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a clinical discipline preferred. Minimum of High School Diploma/ CASAC-T with 3 years’ experience in a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency with computer operations (Microsoft Word, Excel, Electronic Health Record and Outlook programs) required.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish/English highly desired but not required.
  • Experience with tracking and monitoring all documentation and regulatory needs of residents referred to the continuum of client care.
  • Familiarity with Evidenced based screening and assessment tools preferred.
  • Valid State Driver’s License required.
