The Admissions Representative coordinates, develops, and participates in activities and events designed to recruit new students. Raises awareness about the College and its programs among all target audiences. This position requires traveling by vehicle throughout Metro-Detroit; some evenings and weekends required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with public speaking.
- Ability to understand and operate appropriate office equipment, including personal computers and working knowledge of department-specific software (i.e. Datatel).
- Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to successfully interact with diverse groups of students, staff, faculty and the community at large.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) + years work experience in a college environment, preferably in Admissions or Marketing.

- Writing Skills: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from prospective and current employees, and groups of managers.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

- Office Environment: This role involves being in a stationary position in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse (or applicable equipment) and telephone.
