The Administrator in Training will work closely with our highly skilled Administrator to learn the necessary competencies of daily operations while obtaining licensure to transition to a site Administrator. Qualifications:
- Must obtain a current State Nursing Home Administrator License (LNHA) after completion of the AIT program.
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience serving in a role where you have coached, managed, and/or developed others; healthcare experience is favorable.
- Individual must be a team player, adaptable to feedback and ongoing change.
Will learn and implement the following responsibilities:
- Gain an up to date understanding of applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
- Develop skills to ensure effective and efficient operations of the facility while maintaining the highest level of care to residents in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Exercise ethical and sound leadership decisions with the support of the assigned Administrator.
- Assists in managing all operations of location, including all departments, delegating responsibilities to the appropriate staff to carry out facility’s needs. Ensuring all programs, policies, and procedures are followed.
- Gather knowledge in human resource laws.
- Assists the Administrator in reviewing the overall budget for the facility and within each department while ensuring conformance with standards of quality care.
- Works closely with the Director of Nursing and nursing department to support in the planning, implantation, and evaluation to maximize resident qualify of life and care within resident’s rights and resident cares.
- Regularly assists the health care team to Identify and responds to resident care to assure the adequate resources, environments, and services are provided.
- Ensures residents dignity and right to privacy. Ensures residents are free from sexual abuse, physical abuse, mental abuse, corporal punishment, exploitation, neglect, and involuntary seclusion.
- Adheres to the fire, emergency, and disasters plan to ensure the safety and welfare of residents, staff, and property.
- Maintains safety rules and procedures that incorporate federal regulations and meet the OSHA requirements to ensure employee health and safety.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Estimated Salary: $25.00 to $28.00 based on prior experience. Increase with completion of all State Nursing Home Administrator Licensing (LNHA).
