Job Description:
Karl’s TV & Appliance Inc. is recruiting for a dynamic individual to fill a newly created Human Resource Administrator position. This position will provide human resource leadership and assist with corporate duties. The Human Resources Administrator position will report to the Chief Financial Officer. This position will be located in Sioux Falls, SD, and will require occasional travel.

Requirements:
- Proven experience implementing Human Resources programs and prior accounting experience required.
- Conscientious, detail-oriented worker who is self-motivated, willing and able to learn, and internally motivated to be accurate;
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills;
- Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the company, including senior-level executives to front-line workers;
- Strong Financial Acumen required.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Human Resources:
- Benefits administration -- ensuring employees understand their benefit coverages.
- Administers 401(k), Employee Stock Ownership, health insurance and Section 125 Cafeteria plans.
- Assist with employee verification, unemployment and workers compensation claims;
- Ensure compliance with corporate policy, fair employment practices and government regulations;
- Maintain current documents for completion by all new employees; in accordance with current requirements and regulations;
- Facilitate distribution to employees of annual retirement plan notices and health insurance notices;
- Assist with annual employee benefit audits and timely IRS filings for benefit programs;
- Work with executive staff in overseeing annual employee reviews.
- Assist as necessary with payroll functions
- Other related tasks assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
