Responsibilities
We are looking to hire an individual who will report to and partner with the Head of Diversity & Inclusion to help develop and execute Oaktree's global Diversity and Inclusion efforts.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as a thought partner to our Head of Diversity & Inclusion across all aspects of our diversity programs
- Support communications with D&I teams and employee networks on goals and initiatives and support the firm overall in advancing our Responsibility and Diversity & Inclusion objectives
- Schedule D&I meetings and events and maintain the firm's D&I calendar as well as support Head of D&I's meeting and travel schedule
- Maintain budget, collect receipts, and ensure events and expenses are coded appropriately. Manage global expense reporting for D&I team
- Analyze data to provide insight to our business leaders to support progress and accountability. Maintain up-to-date market research on key global benchmarks relevant to D&I
- Maintain the D&I page on Oaktree Central and the D&I calendar in Confluence. Send out firmwide communications on various D&I events (e.g. Fireside Chats, Panels, in-person events) through Outlook. Manage membership lists in Workday
- Use data and key insights to support internal and external communications. Maintain D&I messaging and presentations with latest metrics and initiatives
- Support client and benchmarking submissions and diligence requests throughout the year
- Project manage key D&I initiatives and trainings - develop materials, maintain data, participate in brainstorming sessions, manage communications and logistics; work with various teams to understand needs, timelines, key players, etc.
- Support our private equity control strategies and portfolio companies in D&I related initiatives including our annual submissions with the ESG Data Initiative (EDCI)
- Maintain relationships and collaborate with our various external diversity focused partnerships including but not limited to AltFinance, Girls Who Invest, Posse, SEO and others
- Support variety of D&I focused Talent and Development programs and initiatives including scheduling trainings in partnership with our Talent and Development team
- Draft and edit PowerPoint Presentations and Excel analysis for key internal and external meetings
- Maintain overall knowledge of the firm, dynamics, and industry
- Attend D&I events and training programs in person and virtually as needed, some of which take place in the evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of progressive data, analytical and presentation experience required
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- Strong working knowledge of other database and project management applications such as Confluence and Jira
- Strong skills in qualitative and quantitative analysis and data management
- Solid project management skills; ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education
Bachelor's degree required.
Base Salary Range
$65,000 - $80,000
In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement. The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.
