Administrative Support- Education Depepartment
Full Time (80hrs. per biweekly pay period)
Job Summary
Responsible for coordination of staff orientation including schedule preparation and updating the training materials within the learning management system (LMS). Assists in coordination of community educational events through handling event logistics.
Educational Support
Coordinates initial orientation for employees including building tours for new staff and the oversight of their daily activities.
Facilitates orientation education sessions, including generation of electronic calendars for all presenters and participants, room reservations, and set up.
Prepares orientation material and assures that designated materials are available for orientation sessions through printed material, on the intranet (where appropriate), and via the learning management system (LMS).
Assists new staff in ordering initial car stock supplies.
Updates print and video educational materials to support ongoing changes with the content.
Assures completion of orientation competencies and educational program evaluations.
Maintains computerized training records in the organization’s human resources information system (HRIS) and LMS.
Serves as the point person for visiting professionals and helps connect the visiting professional with assigned staff.
Coordinates the training experience of visiting professional, including calendars, clinical experience guidelines and scheduling with clinical staff.
Coordinates organization education to external sources through handling logistics including securing the venue, food accommodations (as needed), collaboration with speaker(s), and internal communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
High school graduate or GED required.
Experience with business organization, communication, innovative thinking, problem-solving, and the education field preferred.
Computer experience required with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing.
Experience with a learning management system (LMS) preferred.
Able to operate and utilize general office equipment, including a personal computer, fax machine, copier, calculator, smartphone, and telephone services.
Able to operate audio/visual equipment, including television,and video camera.
