This job contributes to Starbucks success by providing routine administrative support to a department or function according to established procedures. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
As a administrative support/receptionist you will...
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Orders and replenishes office and kitchen supplies.
- Performs other administrative duties as required, responding to requests for information, and supporting special projects.
- Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail or other documents.
- Reviews work for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Takes photocopies, sends, and receives facsimiles, answers telephone as needed and uses Starbucks issued computer.
- May complete regular reports, standard form letters and memoranda.
- Greets visitors, issues badges, and controls access to secure company areas.
- Logs & tracks incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Schedules conference rooms and corresponding AV/IT details as needed based on requests both in person and via email.
- Maintains an orderly appearance of conference rooms and rooms setups as needed for meetings.
- Works with office building management team and facilities to address any maintenance concerns or requests.
- Uses market expertise to provide insight on hotels, restaurants and city experiences for visiting teams and partners.

- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to understand written and verbal policies and guidelines, specifications, and safety standards
- Basic math skills
- Flexibility to work overtime as required, even on short notice
- Ability to work in accordance with quality, safety, and sanitation standards, policies and guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Customer Service Skills
- Promotes process improvement.
