About this role:
The Administrative Coordinator II assists the Program Director with administrative and Intake duties. Also provides support for KDC Therapies program and families serving children with specialized support needs. This role requires an organized, detail-oriented team member who works well with families and insurance claims. This position is in our Attleboro location and is in person.
This is a part-time position.
Hours: 24
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Provide administrative support to KDC Therapies Program Director and staff as needed, including phone coverage, phone referral information, meetings, responding to messages, faxes, emails and greeting of visitors.
- Supports with Therapist scheduling and treatment preparation as needed.
- Evaluates, develops, and implements office systems and procedures.
- Ensures contact is established with families of children referred to the program.
- Schedules and monitors consultative appointments.
- Process intake packet and application forms, including letters, releases, medical records, etc.
- Make contact for written client referrals.
- Compiles and files client records and ensures completion of all information.
- Orders and maintains office supplies, records, and processing of purchase orders.
- In addition to administrative duties, manage Intake Process includes:
- Enter information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) clinical platform; insurance benefits; authorizations; upload documents; Follow up on authorization approval status and document; collect co-pay; assist with and keep track of Therapist credentialing.
- Maintain waiting, reception, and kitchen areas.
We are looking for people who have:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 1-2 years of outpatient, pediatric experience focusing on insurance verification and benefits. Including obtaining referrals and authorization, and /or registration of demographic and insurance information preferred
- Ability to communicate with providers/clinicians, family members, and third-party payers.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and coding
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional experience on telephones and computers.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended period of time
- Extensive phone use required
