Job Description
Primary Purpose:
TheAdministrative Associate – Operations is to provide administrative support to their respective department. Works independently under limited supervision and many times with a sense of urgency, performs advanced and highly complex administrative/clerical functions. The position will also provide support as needed to other departments.
This position is located in Hackberry, LA.Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is required.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Maintain a positive attitude and support all tenants of the Cameron LNG’s Culture Wheel
- Process purchase requisitions for Operations, and Marine departments with a strong focus on budget and funds remaining
- Monitor and process monthly invoices for Operations, and Marine departments with a strong focus on purchase order funds remaining
- Monitor and process payroll invoicing for Operations contract staff with a strong focus on contract rates (including vacation/sick time, travel and miscellaneous allowances)
- Coordinate meetings and manage conference rooms (including placing lunch orders for meetings)
- Monitor/Track raw materials usage and invoicing for Operations
- Make redline changes to Ops procedures
- Support Operations leadership with monitoring and management of annual budget.
- Compose memos, form letters, reports, documents, and other daily tasks as required
- Assists with maintenance of files and records
- Maintain schedules and makes travel arrangements for Operations team members.
- Coordinates and/or takes lead responsibility on special projects requiring advanced skills.
- Uses business applications software and peripheral equipment (e.g., complex databases, advanced presentation graphics, detailed spreadsheets using original formulas, operates fax machines, copy machines, etc.). Ability to self-train when software applications are updated, revised and/or superseded.
- Process expense reports.

Qualifications:
Education:- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of seven (7) years as an Administrative Associate, or similar position, required.
- Plant-specific experience strongly preferred.
- SAP experience strongly preferred
- Must be highly proficient in MS Office Suite. Must be strong in Excel (working with formulas and pivot tables)
- Power BI (creating dashboards/reports) preferred.
- Advanced computer skills
- Concur experience strongly preferred.
- Familiar with the operation of office machines (printers, faxes, computers, calculators, data scanners)
- Strong communication skills; ability to be tactful, diplomatic, and sincere with the public and to handle dissatisfied citizens
- Self-starter with ability to work strategically with minimal direction
- Able to remain calm and effective in emergencies. Understands and deals comfortably with a sense of urgency
- Able to communicate fluently in English
- Knowledge of business English, spelling, and grammar sufficient to write and edit business materials
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong attention to details
- Must be able to deal with a team of Operators and have the ability to shift focus while ensuring all tasks are completed well and in a timely manner.
- Must be able to sit at a desk and operate a computer for extended periods of time
- Must be willing to travel for trainings and meetings as required
- Some light lifting will be required
