The administrative Assistant facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Essential functions:
- Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
- Welcomes and directs visitors and clients.
- Maintains filing systems as assigned.
- Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
- Ordering and disperse of uniforms.
- This position will also be responsible for Route Settlement, which includes-counting cash received by the drivers, verifies that checks are signed and stamped, run a calculator tape, Invoicing, and interacting with Route Drivers in a positive and professional manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software.
- Organizational skills and high degree of attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One to two years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience.
