Summary

The Administrative Assistant for Radiology is responsible for supporting the Radiology & Neurovascular Lab Departments and Director.  

Responsibilities

• Schedule and organize education for the department
• Verify, organize and update employee licensure and competency files

• File and organize equipment inventory
• Schedule physicist equipment evaluations
• Create check requests
• Upload and manage radiation monitoring badges for the department
• Schedule and organize meetings
• Take and create meeting minutes
• Act as assistant to the Director performing general administrative duties
• Process departmental payroll
• Enter departmental dashboard data
• Act as departmental ISO document controller

• Exercise discretion, judgment and demonstrate initiative

Requirements

• Must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work efficiently.
• Advanced computer skills – Experience with Epic and Microsoft Office are preferred.

• Operate office equipment and software in order to efficiently complete tasks managed by this position

• Minimum requirement, high school diploma or GED
