Pantheon Data is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Washington, DC

Company Overview

Pantheon Data (a Kenific Holding company) is a private, small business based in the Washington, DC, area. Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Our service offerings have grown in the past ten years, including infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. We have also grown our customer base to include commercial clients. The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Administrative Support professionals at various experience levels (Entry, Mid, and Senior) to join our team. The ideal candidates will provide essential administrative office management support and, for mid and senior levels, possess experience in DoD/Navy Acquisition processes.

Responsibilities

Entry Level:

  • Perform basic administrative office management tasks.
  • Handle routine office duties such as filing, data entry, scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining records.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office.

Mid Level:

  • Provide support in DoD/Navy Acquisition processes.
  • Assist with preparing acquisition documentation, contract management, and compliance activities.
  • Conduct basic research and compile data for reports and briefings.
  • Support program management activities and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform basic administrative office management tasks as needed.

Senior Level:

  • Provide comprehensive support in DoD/Navy Acquisition processes.
  • Lead the preparation and management of acquisition documentation, contracts, and compliance initiatives.
  • Oversee and coordinate program management activities, ensuring alignment with DoD/Navy requirements.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, including industry and government partners.
  • Mentor and guide junior administrative staff.
  • Perform basic administrative office management tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

Entry Level:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of administrative office management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Mid Level:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative support roles.
  • Basic understanding of DoD/Navy Acquisition processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Senior Level:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in DoD acquisition processes, program management, technical management, or business management within Industry or Government.
  • In-depth understanding of DoD/Navy Acquisition processes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Desired Qualifications for Senior Level:

  • Experience in DoD acquisition processes.
  • Experience in DoD/Navy program management, Industry or Government technical management, or Industry or Government business management.

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
