This is a career opportunity in a professional office environment consisting of a team of administrative staff working together while gaining many valuable skills. The primary responsibility for the Administrative Assistant position is answering phones with a smile for many small businesses, where you become a member of their staff while on the call. There are other administrative duties that you will perform and learn new skills and tools, but answering calls promptly is the first priority.
We have a newly modeled facility (see pictures) with a very pleasant environment and a good team spirit. You must fit in well and support the entire team at all times. Punctuality and attitude are extremely important.
Job Duties Include:
- Answering a multi-line phone system for many small businesses
- Greeting visitors and clients
- Scheduling Appointments, filling out intake forms, and taking messages as needed Sorting and filing mail, mail scanning and uploading mail
- Logging packages and client drop-offs
- Administrative duties such as ordering and maintaining supplies for the office, light cleaning of conference rooms and main areas, maintaining a filing system and tracking client usage
- Responding promptly to emails and messages Setting up new client services Representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance

The compensation plan is structured so that your salary and benefits increase with time. Full medical and dental benefits will be available to you after one full month of employment. The salary starts at $16/hr, and there is a 3 month probation training period. You will also be eligible for a profit sharing plan after gaining some experience. Opportunities exist for rapid progress as you pick up new skills in a fun environment. You will be able to make new connections, with access to many networking events, staff gatherings, etc., frequently held in our expansive lounge/bar area. After gaining experience, you will be eligible for a salaried position with compensation of $40,000 per year or higher depending upon your performance. For this opportunity, actual work experience is not required, but some related experience in an office environment with administrative duties is beneficial.
Location: We are located in Tysons Corner VA, at the junction of 495 Expressway and Route Seven in a newly remodeled modern facility with about 20,000 sq. ft. of luxurious office space with a state-of-the-art Staff Room.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
