Job Description
The HR Administration Specialist provides general support of HR functions to employees and managers and is responsible for assisting the HR Manager and department with administrative duties. He or she assists HR generalist focuses in support of local business operations and HR key initiatives in talent management, employee relations, employee engagement, and compliance.
Aramark's Step Up to Leadership (S2L) Paid Internship Program targets motivated college underclassmen and rising seniors who are eager to gain valuable business skills and leadership experience. The S2L Program is designed to provide students with key experiences, expertise, and resources to help position them competitively for full-time positions post-graduation.
S2L interns gain relevant work experience, mentorship from industry leaders, and professional training to help them pursue what matters to them, both personally and professionally. Throughout the course of this premiere internship program, interns have the unique opportunity to take on leadership roles within Aramark while participating in structured program activities and development exercises.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist HR Department in administrative duties
  • Assist employees and managers with general HR functions while maintaining ARAMARK's guest service principals: "WEST"
  • Assist in day to day HR functions including staffing, hiring, training, development, coaching, incentives, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to listen to employee concerns and have exceptional analytical problem-solving
  • Follows ARAMARK policies and procedures and safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate data in HR Database, and to ensure employee documents are complete. Assist with any other employee on-boarding activities as needed.
  • Maintain a strict level of confidentiality concerning all employee data and problems
  • Initiate transactions in HR database including new hires, terminations, and change requests.
  • Assist in new employee orientation sessions.
  • Maintain employee files and training materials.

Qualifications
Step Up to Leadership Program:
Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program at a 4-year college or university - All majors welcomed; Eligible candidates must be graduating after August 2023.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by Aramark for this position now or in the future.
Aramark does not offer housing with the exception of our remote Aramark Destinations locations.
