Job Responsibilities
The Adjunct Physics Instructor will provide quality instruction to students enrolled in physics courses, ensuring that the course content is delivered effectively and in line with the department's curriculum.
Job duties include:
  • Teach assigned courses in accordance with the department's course outlines and syllabi
  • Use appropriate teaching techniques to facilitate student learning and assess student progress
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to facilitate student development and learning
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide activities such as professional development, committee assignments, and other duties as assigned
  • Maintain appropriate records related to student attendance, progress, and grades
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures

Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master's Degree in Physics or a Master's Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Physics.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience in the field.
