The Communication, Media and Technology Department of La Roche University is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Adjunct Professor - Broadcasting, Cable and New Media for the Spring 2025 semester.
This position provides overview of the television, radio and cable television industries and the economic, regulatory, technological and legal forces on them. The course also deals with aspects of production in television, radio and cable programming such as newscasts, interviews, advertising, entertainment and public service programming.
This undergraduate course meets twice a week in-person on La Roche University’s campus in the North Hills neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Excellent communication, technological, and organizational skills needed.
- Ability to teach, interact, and evaluate students who come from diverse backgrounds and levels of ability.
- Evaluate student progress and provide appropriate feedback.
- Follow established teaching procedures and protocols within the Academic Affairs Division.
Education/Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Communication, Media Studies, or related field.
- Prior college/university level teaching experience preferred.
- Professional experience is preferred.
