The Department of Elementary, Middle level, Library and Learning Technologies at Kutztown University invites applicants for our part-time adjunct Faculty Pool. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: Education doctorate or equivalent and a Master's degree in Reading Specialist or an MED with Instructional Coaching endorsement certificate; at least 5 years experience teaching in K-12; experience serving as an instructional coach or experience working as a literacy interventionist. Preferred: One-year college level teaching experience or equivalent, experience working with diverse learners. Applicants who meet the minimum requirements will be certified to be placed in our part-time adjunct Faculty Pool and will remain in the pool while the pool is active. As need arises, applicants in the pool will be considered and contacted for an on-campus interview. During the on-campus interview, successful interview and demonstration of abilities are required to be selected.
