About the Unit/Department/Team
The Acute Care Services Quality and Patient Safety Manager will work with a multi-disciplinary team across the system, reporting directly to the Chief of Nursing. This person should thrive working independently, but remain talented in connecting with other nursing leaders to strategize, implement and evaluate Patient Safety and quality initiatives.
Mission for Position
The Acute CareServices Quality & Patient Safety Manager is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of Patient Safety and quality programs intended to increase Patient Safety, quality of care and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN license in the State of Minnesota
- Current ACLS and PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
- Previous surgical experience required
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to plan, direct and/or implement and evaluate the nursing care delivered to patients.
