Activity Assistant
Duties:
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities for residents
- Coordinate and manage the activity schedule
- Provide support and assistance to residents during activities
- Encourage social interaction and participation among residents
- Assist with organizing and facilitating group discussions or events
- Provide counseling and support to residents regarding aging issues
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in social work or a related field is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of aging issues and counseling techniques is a plus
