Activity Assistant

Conducts activities assessments to determine patients' interests and desired activities while patients are on the Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, and provides those activities as appropriate.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

BLS certification.

Basic Word computer skills, EPIC EMR experience helpful but not required

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms, use hands to handle or feel, and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
