SalaryPearl Healthcare is looking for a talented Activity Assistant’s to join our team! The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and demonstrate passion about caring for our residents.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead programs and encourage resident participation in our activity programs.
- Implement person-centered plans of care that encourage socialization, provide entertainment, relaxation and fulfillment, and improve daily living skills for residents of varied functional levels.
- Conduct patient interview assessments and care plan.
- Document resident participation, mood, behavior, assistance level.
- Set up the physical environment for activities.
- Assist with special events, theme days, celebrations.
Candidate must have the following:
- Promote and facilitate teamwork.
- Demonstrate a high standard of ethics.
- Dependability.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service.
- Demonstrate compassion and exhibit patience.
Job requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Related experience not required but encouraged.
- Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job
- Must successfully pass background and drug screening
