Immediate Opening!

We are seeking a fun, energetic individual to join our team! Responsibilities include implementing facility activities for the residents; encouraging socialization, providing entertainment, and improving daily living skills; interacting with residents, families, and the community professionally; and keeping accurate records of activities, attendance, and calendars.

The Activity Aide will:

• Facilitate ongoing program for group and individual activities based on the residents’ needs, interest, and abilities as identified in assessment / care plans.
• Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Assist in creating the activity calendar.
• Follow and maintain established policies and procedures.
• Encourage participation in Resident Council, schedule monthly meetings.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule: days and afternoons, dependent upon scheduled activities for the day.

Activity Aide qualifications:

• 1 + years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting
• Ability to plan, organize, and lead activities.
• Ability to work weekends as well as some holidays.
• Outgoing personality.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong verbal and listening skills.
• Multi-tasking skills.
• Passion for helping others.
• Excellent customer service.
• Teamwork qualities.
• Dependability
