POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will work with clients both Residential and Commercial and is responsible for auditing billing, ensuring contract rates and tables are correctly applied to customer transactions, and all Accounts Receivable and accounts payable duties. This role will work with the accounting and operations departments, monitoring project progress, budget adherence, and contract payment collection schedules.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Analyze transaction information to identify refunds, delinquent accounts and insufficient payments
- Prepare and disburse invoices to customers through Quickbooks
- Resolve delinquent accounts by contacting and working with customers
- Send Certificate of Insurance as applicable to customers
- Reconcile transactions with statements
- Maintain accurate financial record of all payable and receivable transactions
- Secure financial data via data backups and security monitoring
- Assist with budget, cash flow and other financial solutions as needed
- Manage email inbox, maintaining communication with customers regarding payments
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership, and finance department members to maintain updated financial reports
- Provide daily updates on the latest financial numbers for your function

- Proficiency with Quickbooks (Preferred), Experience with BuilderTrend (Bonus)
- Strong independent research ability
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, and/or combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as clerk
- CAPP or CAPA Certification (Preferred)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs
