Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist. There is a job opening with great career growth potential and a great benefits package in this quickly growing accounting team. A successful candidate for this position will be ready to enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. In this Accounts Receivable position, you will need to be a self-starter with high attention to detail, in order to succeed at handling 200+ invoices a week. This is a long-term Accounts Receivable position and is based in the Spokane Valley, Washington area.
How you will make an impact
- Square bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in diverse ledgers
- Assist in setting up payment plans; contact clients to help resolve payment issues
- Corroborate documents and codes
- Process payments and compile segments of annual reports and monthly closings in compliance with GAAP
- Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment
- Execute a range of foundational accounting tasks in agreement with normal procedures, including general accounting tasks
Requirements- 1+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable
- Efficient in ERP systems
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Proven analytical skills in basic Accounts Receivable and accounting policy
- Foundational knowledge in customer service
- Data entry experience - speed and accuracy
