Bedrosians Tile and Stone is seeking an experienced, organized Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional. To succeed in this role, you will keep updated records of customer tax information, research and resolve customer A/R issues, place billing and collection calls, post tax adjustments, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. What you get to do every day:
Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, including skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment
Be an ambassador of the mission, values, and culture of the organization
Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans
Confirm tax documents and upload to system
Keep accurate records of resale certificates and follow up with customer to obtain valid resale documents.
Follow up for payment on NSF checks and obtain replacement.
Carry out an assortment of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks.
Provide information, as requested to the sales/marketing department, shippers, customers, and other stakeholders
2+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable
Account reconciliation experience
General ledger experience
Established analytical skills in basic Accounts Receivable and accounting policy
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field strongly desired but not required.
Dependability in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills in particular
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
