SalaryFMA is seeking an experienced individual to enter, update & maintain ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLEs.
Duties include:
- Perform A/R data entry & invoicing duties.
- Process daily deposits.
- Ensure that download of bank information is done on a daily basis & entered on spreadsheet.
- Input daily CAD exchange rate.
- Post daily batches.
- Close A/R by the fourth working day of the month.
- Tie bank spreadsheets back to bank activity at the end of each month.
- Maintain A/R data and follow written collection procedure as necessary.
- Provide sales reps with documentation for customers regarding billing payment or special requests and log in database.
- Communicate with clients for past due invoices.
- Gather problem account information &, with input from appropriate parties, determine course of action to collect monies.
- Prepare information for & run the sales credit meetings.
- Back-up for A/P & purchasing functions as necessary.
Requirements:
- Two-year degree in a related field or 6 months to 1 year related work experience or equivalent combination of education & experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of directly related work experience.
- General knowledge of bookkeeping, credit & collection.
- Strong math aptitude.
- Detail oriented.
- General working knowledge of accounting software packages.
- Customer service experience preferred, but not required.
