This role is responsible for timely recording of responsibilities. In addition, this person will provide administrative support to the Finance Group in a variety of areas including organization of documentation and electronic and physical file management.
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be part of the office support team and provide clerical support across the organization as required. This person is expected to work well in a team environment and deliver high quality work product.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
- * Maintain up to date billing systems and carry out billing duties
- *Generate and send out invoices/Monthly statements
- Input and allocate all checks, wires and credit card payments each day into the accounting system
- Following up and collecting payments with strict deadlines
- Reviewing account statuses and generating age analysis.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Prepare daily bank deposits
- Prepare daily cash report for management
- Preform reconciliation of daily receipts to bank deposit records
- Make all necessary adjustments, corrections and write-offs as instructed.
- Keeping filing and work area organized
- Set up new accounts and run credit checks
- Any and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years of applicable work experience.
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Proficient in MS Word
- Well-rounded with an ability to solve problems creatively.
- Takes initiative.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
