Accounts Receivable/ Ar Specialist

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for the processing of Cash Applications, to include: ACH Payments from various banks, Wire Payments, and Credit Card Payments
• Preparation and sending of invoices; Monthly Statements via mail or email.
• New account setup: review Dealer Applications for credit worthiness before onboarding new customers.
• Thoroughly and accurately document all collection efforts for each assigned account by handling inbound and outbound telephone calls to customers to negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining positive and professional customer relations.
• Work closely with internal departments: review individual accounts with Sales Manager and team, Account Managers, and Customer Service team members.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the accounting department.
• Update the Accounts Receivable Manager with all account issues and potential bad debt accounts.
• Review and report collections metrics to Accounts Receivable Manager to track progress against forecasted goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable
• 2+ years of experience in invoicing and cash processing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Excellent analytical skills and a strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work with internal and external customers
• Experience with NetSuite a plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
