A fresh approach to great results
The name says it all! Our Accounts Receivable/ Income Distribution Associates distribute income from all of our lines of business to the correct client/location/machine. Specifically, this accounting position is responsible for timely and accurate depositing of checks, applying cash, and distributing field partner/vendor sales and commission information. We're not done yet! This position also communicates with internal teams and vendors to resolve rate questions, and vendor or reporting issues.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Distribution of sales and commission information .
Receive, open, and prepare checks for daily deposit.
Input checks into our system daily.
Create check deposits and batches.
Analyze and validate the over-short process.
Distribute all money by month's end for the assigned territory.
Communicate with internal teams to address invoice and inventory discrepancies and issues.
Communicate with field partners/vendors about reporting issues and work to improve the submission of sales information.
Qualifications
A High School diploma required, along with two years accounting experience in a related position and one year of customer service experience.
An Associates or a Bachelors degree in Accounting or related subject is preferred, with one year of accounting experience.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
10-key accuracy and efficiently.
Experience with Microsoft Word, and Intermediate Excel.
Proficiency with JD Edwards or other ERP system (i.e. SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft) is preferred.
Must have good time management and organizational skills.
Most work is self-directed. Must be able to initiate follow-up, data integrity, phone calls, etc.
