Batavia, NY car dealership looking for experienced Automotive Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk. Great Pay with benefits, PTO, and 401K contribution.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Some Weekends may be required
Pay Range is $17/Hour to $19/Hour depending on experience
Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities
The Accounts Payable - Receivable Clerk performs a variety of general accounting and clerical support tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable. He or she compiles and maintains accounting records, reconciles vendor statements, and receipts in all payments from vendors, customers.
Other Responsibilities:
Writing up the daily deposit after posting Repair Orders, Parts Orders, and Customer/Vendor payments.
Help Answer Phones and direct them to the correct departments.
Answer and research any questions a vendor or customer's Account Receivables account may have.
Cut checks to pay vendors or make payment over phone by company credit card.
Reconcile and Pay Company's Credit Card.
Make calls on any past due AR accounts.
Other Duties:
Cross Train with Office Manager on his or her responsibilities, which may include:
Human Resource tasks for new hires
Maintain general ledger via research and reconciliation.
Maintain accounting schedules
Posting of car deals
Flooring and Paying off a vehicle on company's floor plan.
Tag & Title work
Other Cross Training duties may also become a priority with the title clerk.
Requirements
Desired Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required
Associatesdegree or 2+ years of Automotive Accountingexperience preferred
Knowledge of automotive industry would be helpful
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to communicate well with customers and managers
Participate and keep up to date with on the job training and continuing education required by Manufacturers, Vendors and other outside sources as requested by Management.
