Accounts Payable Supervisor - Immediate Role In Austin

The Hire Solution has partnered with a dynamic and growing software company located in in Austin, Texas. As an upcoming leader in the industry, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Lead to join our finance team.
Position Overview:
As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of our Accounts Payable department. This is a hands-on position in a moderate to high volume Accounts Payable environment where attention to detail, efficiency, and exceptional customer service are paramount. The ideal candidate will have experience in Accounts Payable processes, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in using NetSuite ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

• Lead and supervise the Accounts Payable team, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Process Optimization:

• Implement best practices to streamline Accounts Payable processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes accordingly.

Vendor Management:

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.

Customer Service:

• Prioritize exceptional customer service for internal and external stakeholders.
• Address and resolve inquiries from vendors, internal teams, and management regarding Accounts Payable matters.

NetSuite ERP System:

• Utilize and maintain proficiency in the NetSuite ERP system.
• Leverage the system to generate accurate financial reports and support decision-making processes.

Compliance and Accuracy:

• Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular audits to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable roles, with a proven track record of leadership.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP system is strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
