We have team members located across the United States spanning multiple time zones. This means we put in extra effort to make sure we connect and collaborate in ways that make sense for us. We know how valuable the flexibility of remote work is for our employees.
We know that personal connection is the foundation for the great work we do together. In order to build those relationships with team members in other cities, we meet with coworkers in person two times a year at a full company offsite and a departmental offsite. What the Role Is
Reporting to the AP/AR Operations Manager, the Accounts Payable Specialist ensures that all expenses, invoices and payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be detailed and deadline-oriented, operational, and can operate in a fast-paced and collaborative startup environment.
Who You Are
2+ years of experience within Accounts Payable
Experienced with managing invoice discrepancies
Out of box thinker with impeccable problem solving skills
Drop-ship vendor management is your speciality
Demonstrated ability to accurately perform month-end close duties
Successful at working autonomously but within a team environment
How You Will Make An Impact
You will manage accurate and timely processing of 400+ invoices (inventory and non-inventory) a month, including an understanding of the 3-way match of purchase order, receipts, and invoices
You will ensure invoices are accurately coded and have the appropriate documentation and approval
You will follow up with customers / vendors regarding payment inquiries and billing issues.
You will research and resolve invoice discrepancies
You will assist with month-end close procedures
You will establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external business partners
You will perform other special projects and analyses as directed by management

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
The estimated pay range for this role is $69,720.00 - $104,580.00
In addition, Babylist offers equity, bonus, and benefits, including company paid health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
