Join our team! We are a fast- paced civil contractor looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator.
The right candidate must be able to work independently and must have at least 3 years’ experience in the field of construction accounting or job costing This is a permanent- full time position in the far east side.
Job Duties
- Receive, route & process invoices in a timely manner and with accuracy
- Monitor payment requirements & process weekly check run
- Coordinate with vendors/subs to resolve discrepancies
- Process credit applications
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Maintain accounting records/ project files
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports as requested
- Issue required tax filings 1099
- Assist in annual audit
- Assist Controller in various tasks as requested
- Perform other duties as requested by management
Qualifications & Skills
- Experienced in job cost accounting
- Data entry with a high degree of speed and accuracy
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office
- Knowledgeable in Foundation accounting software or similar accounting software
- 3+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be bilingual: English / Spanish
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
