Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Tarentum, PA
Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk looking for a new opportunity in Tarentum, PA? We are seeking a motivated individual to join our client's finance team and contribute to the efficient and accurate processing of Accounts Payable transactions.
This position is fully onsite in Tarentum, PA and is a direct-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
-Invoice Processing: Handle the full cycle of Accounts Payable, including the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices.
-Vendor Management: Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve inquiries, discrepancies, and payment-related issues.
-Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile and analyze vendor statements, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
-Payment Processing: Prepare and process weekly/monthly check runs and electronic payments in accordance with company policies.
-Documentation and Filing: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of invoices, receipts, and payment transactions.
-Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
-Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to Accounts Payable activities.
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years of experience with Accounts Payable.
--Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills.
-Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
-Knowledge of basic accounting principles and understanding of Accounts Payable processes.
-Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing Accounts Payable.
Education:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
