SalaryPart-Time Entry-Level Accounts Payable Clerk
We are looking for a Part Time Accounts Payable clerk to be responsible for the processing of vendor invoices, check request and expense reports for our organization. You will be tasked with entering payables and data entry.
In order for you to be successful in this role, you will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Word and Excel. An ideal candidate must have a good understanding of payments and the accounting process.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/MAJOR DUTIES
Handling Accounts Payable for busy bakery using Solomon
Open mail, Date stamp and distribute accordingly
Maintain precise records of all vendor payments
Filing of paid invoices on a weekly basis
Answer phones
Analyzing workflow process
Maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
Assist accountants with monthly/yearly pulling of invoices for auditors
Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Six months or more related experience
Demonstrated excellence in communications skills, including public interactions
DESIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma
