Job Summary: We are seeking an efficient and organized Accounting/Human Resources Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, human resources, and managing the accounts payable process. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, and screening resumes
· Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
· Coordinate employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries
· Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll accurately and in a timely manner
· Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
· Assist with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
· Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance
· Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely
· Prepare and perform check runs
· Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
· Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies
· Maintain vendor files and ensure accurate record-keeping
· Preforming month-end closing processes related to accounts payable
· Prepare and maintain various accounts payable reports
· Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
· Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling and analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts
· Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
· Pay and file monthly sales tax and use
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
· Provide administrative support to management and other staff as needed
· Maintain inventory software/review monthly inventory
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience in accounting/HR
· Experience with accounting software QuickBooks (Online)
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
