The restoration services we provide places a primary focus on exterior repairs such as cedar shake replacement, repairs and preservation treatments with an increasing focus on synthetic/composite shake & slate roofing systems. Other service trades include custom copper, gutters, siding, and minor carpentry & painting repairs. At Shake Guys, we pride ourselves on having an excellent reputation for customer service. The Position
Shake Guys is seeking an Accounting Assistant to be primarily responsible for scanning, filing, and uploading receipts and documents into QuickBooks Online as well as our customer management system. Research of expenses, reviewing and uploading vendor invoices, creating internal invoices, and assisting with projects will also be part of the daily tasks. You will be working independently, and in conjunction with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate workflow of vendor bills and employee expenses. Daily communication will be required in conjunction with the Office Manager, Sales Representatives and Production staff. Additional daily responsibilities will include the performance of other general office clerk duties, in order to help assist with keeping a consistent workflow within the company.

Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:
- Correctly imputing receipts and bills into company CRM software
- Assist with verifying expenses in QuickBooks Online
- Managing filing system.
- Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.
- Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
- Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
- Maintaining office supply inventory.
- Projects and research as required.
- Positive Interactions with customers and office staff
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- 1 to 2+ years’ Experience as a receptionist / office assistant or in related field
- Some Accounting knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Some QuickBooks Online experience is preferred but not required.
- Good time management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Magnificent work ethic and positive team player
- Ability to quickly improvise and use good judgement
- Handle internal pressure, work well with others, and lead by example
